Installation

HarvestFind is installed by running the Setup program delivered with it. It should be installed on a Harvest "Client" system that is configured with the appropriate version of Harvest (V5.2 or later). HarvestFind accesses some of the Harvest DLLs when running. To find these DLLs HarvestFind uses the Path environment variable. The Path variable must include the directory holding the common Harvest DLLs; this is typically pointed to with the $HARVESTHOME environment variable.

If you have trouble in running HarvestFind, it is likely that it is finding the wrong DLLs. To eliminate this problem, you can install HarvestFind in the $HARVESTHOME directory.
