Search for Information in AllFusion Harvest Repositories

HarvestFind is an application to search for information in AllFusion Harvest Repositories to facilitate Impact Analysis and to report Audit and Compliance  data.

HarvestFind will search for source objects that contain a matching string. For example if you have been assigned to fix a problem in an application and the fix requires adding a new field to a database table, you need to be able to find all the other code referencing that table. HarvestFind lets you search the code easily, preventing you from creating new problems while fixing this one.

HarvestFind will also report Package and Package Group information, including Approvals and History, and User and User Group information often requested by project management and auditors.

Search the AllFusion Harvest Repository and View Results

You can specify any part of the Harvest Repository (within a State) for the search. You may select one or more folders and may specify that the search include sub-folders. In searching for strings in Harvest objects, the search can require a case sensitive match or be case insensitive. You can also limit searches to "whole word" matches that require the specified string to be delimited by white space.

The objects and other information (e.g. Packages) that are found from the search are displayed in a multi-column list displaying their repository attributes. You may sort the list on any attribute. When viewing results from a string search, the objects may be opened with their default viewer and/or checked out to a working directory.
