PowerBuilder Fix for PowerGen Builds (October 1, 2008)

Sybase has released a fix to a problem that was affecting the reliability of PowerGen builds of PB11.x applications, including PB11.5. The fix is in Build 8639 of PB11.2 and Build 3045 of PB11.5 and is contained in PBSHRxxx.DLL.

The problem manifested itself as an intermittent crash during Regeneration and PBD/EXE creation. The problem occurred in an interaction with the SySAM layer, so there were also reports of SySAM property file corruption.

Sybase was extremely responsive to fixing this problem, even though we couldn't provide a black and white test case.
